TIRE CHANGE
Just like every other year, your vehicle must be equipped with winter tires by December 1st at the latest until March 15, 2024.
It’s a requirement in Quebec:
“The requirement applies to all motor vehicles registered in Quebec, including rental vehicles. However, this requirement does not apply to trailers. Drivers who do not comply are liable to a fine of $200 to $300.”
Ask your mechanic to check for tire wear to ensure they’re still in good condition. Otherwise, he can advise you in the process of choosing good winter tires.
