LAUNCH OF THE “GOLF FOR YOUR COMMUNITY” BENEFIT GOLF TOURNAMENT

Launch of the “Golf for your community” benefit golf tournament for the benefit of the Fondation Équilibre Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean of the Foundation for Children and Youth.
We would like to draw your attention to the launch of the “Golf for your community” benefit golf tournament under the honorary presidency of Mr. Martin Gagné, regional director and partner of Groupe l'Ami Junior, for the benefit of the Fondation Équilibre Saguenay-Lac -Saint-Jean the Foundation for Children and Youth. Considering the growing needs of people struggling with mental health issues as well as those of young people from the youth services of the CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, our two organizations have decided to join forces to make a real difference for people in need in our region.
The objective is to raise funds to offer these vulnerable children, adolescents, adults and elderly people the chance to obtain quality care in the different environments financed by the Fondation Équilibre Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean the Foundation for childhood youth.
The particularity of this collaboration is underlined by the continuation of the great movement of generosity and solidarity launched last February with the large collection of night luggage books. All the concessions of the Groupe l'Ami Junior mobilized to collect pillows, comforters, pyjamas and books for young people and vulnerable patients from different environments across Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean. A campaign that sparked a glimmer of hope in the hearts of many people.
Thus, it was obvious for Mr. Martin Gagné, regional director of Groupe l’Ami Junior, to continue their contribution through a considerable benefit event which will allow us to follow through on our respective missions.
For more than 40 years, the Fondation Équilibre Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean has financially supported projects, organizations and establishments working in mental health in order to improve and develop quality services. The Foundation for Children and Youth, for its part, financially supports projects for the benefit of young people from the youth services of the CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, allowing them to develop life projects that bring hope.
So, we invite the community to come “golf” on August 11 at the Arvida Golf Club to support these children, adolescents, adults and seniors in need! 18 holes of golf will be available for golfers with different door prizes and tastings of regional products. A dinner show will finalize this beautiful day. Tickets are sold at $200 per person ($800 per foursome) including registration, cart, dinner and all the details of the day.
